Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

First Run does not currently provide account registration, payment, or server-based user profiles. However, we may collect limited information when you contact us or use the website.

• Name or nickname
• Email address
• Message content
• Page URL
• Browser and device specifications
• Access logs, visit durations, and usage statistics
• Game progress stored locally in your browser

Information submitted through the contact form is used solely for responding to your inquiry. Game progress is stored strictly inside your browser’s localStorage and is not transmitted to our server.

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Responding to your inquiries via email
• Troubleshooting website errors and improving performance
• Analyzing anonymous website traffic and usage statistics
• Enhancing the onboarding RPG demo user experience
• Preventing unauthorized activity and maintaining system security

3. Retention of Information

Personal information collected through the contact form will be retained only as long as necessary to address your inquiry, and will be deleted immediately afterwards.

Game progress logs are saved locally in your browser cache. Clearing your browser data or clicking "Reset Game" inside the application will permanently delete these logs.

4. Sharing of Information

First Run does not sell or share your personal information with external parties, except when required by law or with your explicit consent.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party infrastructure and tooling services:

• Vercel: Hosting and content delivery network (CDN) services.
• Vercel Analytics: Privacy-friendly, anonymized traffic and page-view metrics collection.
• Google Analytics (Google LLC): Usage statistics that do not directly identify you, such as pages visited, time on page, referral source, device and browser type, approximate region, and key in-game actions (starting a game, quest grades, level-ups, whether an inquiry was sent).
• EmailJS: Secure transmission of the contact form and the in-game advertising inquiry form to our email inbox.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies or similar technologies to analyze traffic patterns. Analysis tools like Vercel Analytics gather non-identifiable statistical aggregates.

We also use Google Analytics by Google LLC, which uses cookies to measure how the site is used. We never send names, email addresses or message contents to Google Analytics. The data is handled under Google's privacy policy. To opt out, block cookies in your browser or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

You can restrict or clear cookies via your browser configurations, which may limit game persistence.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Please contact us via email to make a request:

Email: feelbetter.startup@gmail.com

8. Security

We employ industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS encryption and minimal data retention protocols, to prevent unauthorized access or alteration of personal data.

9. Children’s Privacy

First Run does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 14. If we discover that such data has been processed, we will take immediate steps to remove it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations. Updates will be posted directly to this page.
